RALEIGH, NC, June 6, 2022—Virb, Inc. is pleased to announce that Jack Shannon has joined the company as Chief Commercial Officer. Shannon brings 20+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, most recently as executive vice president, business development, and marketing at Synteract, a Syneos Health company. Shannon is an experienced executive leader in the CRO and pharma/biotech industry-leading global sales and marketing teams. He has worked with clients that range from small biotech to large pharma, providing solutions that address the specific needs of each organization. Before joining Synteract, he was vice president, of global business development, biopharma at Chiltern, Inc. He managed the global biopharma sales team in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he spent 7 years at PRA Health Sciences, where he most recently was executive director, business development, managing 3 of PRA’s strategic partnerships and the inside sales team. He also held several senior-level roles in business development and proposals at Quintiles, now IQVIA.
